Taking craftsmanship to the highest levels of excellence, Frapin’s style embodies the very essence of Cognac. The whole estate, including 240ha of vineyards, lies in the Grande Champagne area which is regarded as Cognac’s best appellation. Still in original family ownership, the family can trace their vine growing and distilling history back to 1270. Frapin combines the knowledge with well-established methods passed down through the generations to hand-craft cognacs that are exclusively harvested, distilled and aged on their estate.
This cognac celebrates the great tradition of a family established in Charente since 1270.
Frapin 1270 honours our terroir and expertise. It is a versatile cognac that, thanks to its great aromatic richness, can be enjoyed neat or mixed. It is perfectly suited to spur-of-the-moment aperitifs, server over ice or forming a long drink by mixing with tonic or sparkling water. It is also the ideal based ingredient for most sophisticated cocktails.
Colour & bouquet:
Its warm, golden highlights give it a beautiful straw colour, bearing witness to its time in new Limousin oak barrels.
Palate:
Frapin 1270 offers roundness, finesse and balance. Its length on the palate is due to a very special distillation over fine lees, with slights vanilla or toast notes.
